Principal & Director of Health Information Systems Scott is a Principal at Audacious Inquiry, and he serves as the program director for statewide health information exchange in Maryland (CRISP). Prior to joining Audacious Inquiry, Scott served as a Business and Systems Integration Consultant with Accenture, Inc out of their New York City office. He holds a BSBA in Business Management from Bucknell University. Senior Software Engineer Sandeep joins AI with more than six years of software development experience, with particularly strong skills in developing web and Windows-based solutions. Senior Consulting Partner David supports Audacious Inquiry's Analytical Services Consulting Practice while serving as a Professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Associate Kristen has been instrumental in a multi-facility electronic health record implementation and other health information systems projects in her time with Audacious Inquiry. Kristen joined AI from Duke University, where she graduated with a BSE in biomedical engineering. Software Engineer Phil is a software engineer who also brings a strong scientific research background to Ai.  He is versed in C#, C++, Java, SQL, MCNP, Python, IDL, Mathematica, and Matlab. Director Evan has over 5 years of experience in health information exchange strategic guidance and project management in the federal, state, and private sectors. Focusing predominantly on policy and communications, hehas helped to stand up health IT initiatives across numerous states while also having served as a foundational health IT strategic team member within the first entity to go live on the Nationwide Health Information Exchange. Software Engineer Ping is a seasoned software developer whose deep knowledge of .NET and Java will be helpful in implementing and maintain DCDT. She joined the Ai team most recently from Microsoft China, where she worked on the team that conducted the SQL Server Denali CTP3 release. Web & Software Architect Joe is an experienced software architect, specializing in website design, development and implementation using state-of-the-art software tools including DotNetNuke, C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, IIS, MS SQL Server, and Visual Studio. Software Engineer Manar is an experienced software developer with more than seven years of experience in software production, web programming, web design, quality assurance, database management and technical support. Sr. Testing Specialist Aster is an experienced senior testing specialist. She has tested large web-based business applications including Marketing Resource Management (MRM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Analyst Anthony currently supports Ai's state government health information technology contracts.  He joined the firm from Discovery Health Records Solutions, where he was responsible for providing project leadership to plan, coordinate, implement and maintain HIM systems. Director Lindsey is a seasoned project manager and health IT professional with more than seven years of experience in enterprise EHR implementation, health IT policy, medical coding and natural language processing. Principal David holds ten years of project management, marketing, and technology experience. Since joining AI in 2007, he has worked on a number complex web project deliveries, developing a track record of on-time, on-budget results. David holds a BA in English from Yale University and MA in writing from the Johns Hopkins University. Senior Associate Dennis is an experienced project manager with more than eight years supporting enterprise systems development and implementation for government and healthcare organizations. At Ai, Dennis is working on the launch of Maryland's health benefit exchange. Director Melissa Hargiss is a Director at Audacious Inquiry with an extensive background in health IT adoption and policy at both the state and national levels. Melissa previously worked for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC), within the Department of Health and Human Services, as a Senior Policy Analyst. Melissa has also served as the state health IT coordinator for Tennessee and has practiced law in California and Tennessee. Director, Health Information Systems Rob is an experienced healthcare information technology leader with over 15 years of project management experience delivering clinical, financial and other technology solutions. Rob joined Audacious Inquiry in 2010, and was instrumental in the launch and subsequent success of the CRISP Regional Extension Center program. He currently leads the implementation of a health information exchange for a large regional hospital system. Analyst Since joining Ai Barbara has served as policy analyst on multiple contracts, researching topics including telemedicine, HIT, and health benefit exchanges. She also brings business analysis, process modeling and process improvement experience and helped lead Ai’s effort to define its software engineering process to achieve CMMI level 2. Jacob brings experience in application design and integration. He is skilled in software engineering and comes from a background in mathematics and the law. Interactive Designer Jie brings graphic design and flash development skills to the team. Prior to joining Audacious Inquiry, he worked as a flash designer for Strat@Comm, a Fleishman-Hillard company. Principal Edmond is a Principal at Audacious Inquiry, and he has managed a number of successful projects, including execution of an award-winning health information exchange between a senior care company and a regional hospital. Edmond is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and he holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with minors in economics and German from Duke University. Project Manager Tim is an experienced technology professional with deep business and technical solutions integration expertise. He is an effective communicator and team leader with a proven ability to build long-term relationships with internal and external customers. Senior Associate Genevieve is a senior associate of Audacious Inquiry and a subject matter expert in health information exchange. Prior to joining AI, Genevieve served as the manager of HIE research and programs for the eHealth Initiative (eHI). Ndo Osias is a senior associate in Ai’s master data management (MDM) practice. As an MDM technical lead, Ndo is responsible for managing the delivery of MDM solutions to health information organizations using IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Standard (formerly Initiate). He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Director, Software & Technology Ben Purkis leads Ai’s Master Data Management (MDM) practice and also serves as a Project Team Lead and Director in our Software and Technology practice. Ben joined Ai from IBM (formerly Initiate Systems, Inc.) where he managed large-scale MDM/EMPI implementations and upgrades across various industries and in several countries, including Australia, the UK, Canada, and the US. He brings a particular expertise in healthcare MDM to the Ai team. Integration Team Lead Anand brings over 13 years of experience in application design and integration, with particular expertise in data management in the healthcare and retail sectors. Sr. Testing Specialist Saaliza Ramnarine is a Senior Testing Specialist at Audacious Inquiry. She has experience testing systems in the finance, retail, government and healthcare industries. Saaliza possesses a deep understanding of the software development life cycle and its processes, with a core focus on software quality assurance. Senior Manager, Health Information Systems Rachel's primary focus at Ai is supporting the state of Maryland to build its statewide health insurance exchange. She brings deep healthcare and consulting experience, and came to Ai from the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her MBA and MPH and focused on health information exchange. Senior Software Engineer Will joined Ai from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services where he was an Applications Architect specializing in projects relating to the Kentucky EHR program, including a project that enabled providers to attest Meaningful Use. Software Developer Eric is an experienced software developer with strong analytical, communication and design skills. He posesses a solid understanding of SDLC, OOD and C# coding skills, particularly specializing in ASP, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, XML, JAVA, HTML, and JavaScript. Consulting Partner Alice Wang begin working with Audacious Inquiry in 2007 and she has supported the company on various client and business development assignments. Senior Associate King currently serves as a project manager and business analyst in Ai’s health information systems practice, supporting the expansion of a leading Medicaid Managed Care Organization from the Maryland market into Washington, D.C. In this capacity, King is responsible for schedule and task management or key technical and operational initiatives, communication management with a range of stakeholders, technical documentation development, and process redesign.
