CMS Provider Screening

In 2011, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contracted with TurningPoint to implement a solution for screening providers such as physicians and medical equipment companies for the risk of fraud.  The solution compares provider identities to an array of third-party data sources, such as FBI databases.  A robust master person indexing tool is required in order to meet the requirements of CMS.  TurningPoint subcontracted with Ai to assist with implementing and configuring the IBM Initiate software for this purpose.  Ai’s work was completed under an aggressive, congressionally-mandated deadline.
