Audacious Inquiry, LLC is seeking a personable, high-energy health information technology professional to join our team. The successful incumbent may work on a variety of projects, which will initially include electronic medical record (EMR) implementation and training and may ultimately include health information exchange implementation, personal health record development, and/or health IT policy analysis. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of - and experience in- health IT, specifically, experience with EMR training and implementation.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and customize GE Centricity forms using CCC/VFE/EFE development tools
- Develop and customize reports for GE Centricity
- Interface with clients and work in teams to complete key deliverables
- Coordinate with and oversee other developers on the project, as well as participate in knowledge share with the entire team
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of technology issues and advances in the health information technology industry
- Conduct a review of forms with clinical providers and document and address all provider feedback
- Maintain previous, current, and future edits lists for forms development
- Develop or assist in developing work products such as project work plans, functional specification documents, technical assessments, workflow analyses, forms matrices, etc.
Qualifications:
- EMR forms development experience (at least 2 years)
- Willingness to travel frequently to clinics located in the NOVA/MD/DC area
- Familiarity with GE Centricity EMR a plus
- Relevant college and graduate degrees a plus
- Experience in health information technology, specifically in EMR implementation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to learn quickly and to meet key deliverables in short time frames
- Willingness to relocate to the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area
